Opportunities for Study

The Cornell CEA program is in the state land-grant College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, in the department of Biological and Environmental Engineering. CEA-related study is also possible through the department of Horticulture. The curriculum for undergraduate study in CEA is quite broad. A course of study could be general focusing simply on greenhouse crop production, or concentrated on a single aspect such as computerized modeling of crops. In a similar manner, course topics range from plant physiology and green house crop production to thermal dynamics and computer control. Due to the wide range of courses offered, study of CEA at Cornell offers students a unique opportunity; students can focus on the aspect of CEA that they find most interesting.
